Well, senioritis is at an all-time high. And I suspect it shall only get worse. Spring Break hasn’t even been over for a week, and I’m going home again. I’m just ready to be gone forever.
NYU rejected me, and I’m still waiting to hear from USC. They should probably get that out.. college decisions have to be made by May 1st. And I can’t make the decision without knowing if I got into USC or not. If I got in, I’m probably gonna for sure go. I decided that education is probably an okay thing to be in debt for the rest of my life for. I could be in debt for worse things. And I’ll bay it back eventually. And not only that, I can build up my credit I guess, too.
Stroke 9 is in Baton Rouge tonight. No one I like ever comes to Louisiana, much less the city I live in. So when I found out, I was really excited. But nooo, it just had to be at the fucking Varsity. Gotta be 18 to get in. Which I would normally be like okay well whatever.. but the fact that I will be 18 very, very soon makes it irritating.
Backstreet Boys are on tour, too. They’re going to be in Dallas this Tuesday. But not only is the show sold out (of course), I wouldn’t be able to go because of school. Unless my mom was willing to drive three hours to Natchitoches, sign me out overnight, drive four/five hours to Dallas, see BSB with me, drive back to Natchitoches, bring me back to school in the morning after the dorm opens, and then drive back home to Baton Rouge. Probably wouldn’t be such a big deal if Natchitoches wasn’t like out of the way. Well.. not out of the way.. if you go the long way. But it’s sold out anyway.. so whatever.
I did download BSB’s new single, Incomplete. Well actually, Art downloaded it for me and sent it to me over AIM. Whatever. Style’s still the same. But did anyone really expect it to change? Their new CD, Never Gone, comes out in June. I’m so buying it. Aren’t I a dork?
Jazzfest is coming up, too. I don’t think I’ll be able to go. I want to, but I don’t know. I really want to go and see Dave Matthews, but that’s the same day as prom. And I think that I want to go to prom. But I wanna go see Dave Matthews at Jazzfest, too. I don’t know yet. That’s not for another few weeks, so I have a while to decide.
I finally have a new layout done. But I kinda want to save it just a little bit. I think I’m going to make another one to put up with the next blog, then the one that’s done now. Random, I know. But I just feel like saving this new one. Right now, though, my stupid DVD-ROM drive is broken. So I’m going to try and find an affordable external one this weekend at Best Buy. I would hate to make a layout without doing my own screencaps. That just feels… wrong to me for some reason.
