So I went to the House of Blues in New Orleans last night to see Snow Patrol. It was so awesome. The opening band was Athlete, and they were awesome, too. And like fifty times cuter than the guys in Snow Patrol. And I got to talk to them and touch one of them and get a signed CD for thirteen bucks. How awesome is that? I did really wanted to get this Snow Patrol tour t-shirt, but it was $25, and I only had $9 after buying the Athlete CD. But even if I hadn’t gotten the CD I was still three dollars short of being able to get a shirt.
I thought my feet were going to like hate me today from all the standing last night, but it isn’t bad. They don’t hurt at all now. So that’s good. Especially considering I was standing from like.. 7:30 to 11:00 last night. Part of that was walking, too, but whatever.
And in other news, I got more graduation money last night, giving me enough to get my iPod! Finally. And thank God for their student discount, or I still wouldn’t have enough. And I really want to get something engraved on it, but I don’t know what yet. I think I might put a good song lyric or something, but I’ll have to find one I really like before deciding. So it’ll still be a while before I order it. Must decide what I want it to say.
Still unemployed, though I do have a babysitting job for my aunt and uncle this weekend. They’re going out of town for a few days, and I’m going to stay with my cousin. I don’t really consider it babysitting because she’s 13. I’m basically just the transportation. And I’m there so she doesn’t have to be alone. Because my other cousin is going to like, Costa Rica or something like that.
Oh yeah, and I got a couple of question/comment things.
