I survived the hurricane. My cell phone barely works; my internet and cable don’t at all. I’m borrowing my brother’s DSL at the moment.
Baton Rouge is the most boring place in the world right now. Partly because I have nothing to do; party because even if I did I don’t think I’d want to fight all the traffic. Because of all the Katrina evacuees we have about twice as many people in the city than normal, which there isn’t room for at all. And so there’s too many people on the road - and most of them don’t know what they’re doing or where they’re going anyway.
I understand why they’re all here, but there really isn’t room.
My 10 minute drive to the movie theatre yesterday took 45 minutes. That’s how bad it is. Not to mention that some of the stoplights still aren’t working yet.
Thinking of applying for a job at Starbucks. Yummmm.
And the pink is almost completely faded from my hair.

Lol, so it would’ve been quicker walking than driving.
That would be cool, I knew someone who worked at Starbucks, it was wicked. You get this card and get discounts. And she promoted to this manager or something, but went somewhere else.
