The RENT movie soundtrack makes me sad. Almost every single song on there is changed at least a little bit. Some have very minor changes, but most have entire chunks taken out. Not to mention almost all of my favorite songs are gone. I’m sure some of them (like Contact) will still be scenes in the movie since they contain like… MAJOR plot points and all, but I want the songs, too.

I’ve been listening to the movie soundtrack instead of the Broadway soundtrack for like the past week just so I can get used to it and maybe be over most of my anger/sadness by the time the movie comes out.

But, oh well. C’est la vie.

I ♥ my RENT poster. It’s all pretty and framed and everything to save it from getting hurt. And how much money I spent on the damn thing, it’s staying safe. Nothing’s gonna touch it. It’s still not up on my wall, yet, though. My dad said he was gonna put up something to hang it up like Saturday and he hasn’t yet, so it’s still just leaning against my dresser in my room.

And I’m so glad I finally have a working iPod again. Walking around campus was so boring without it. Much better now. I can listen to music all the time!!! I’ve been on an All-American Rejects kick lately for some reason. I don’t really know why; it’s kinda random. But I’ve been listening to both their self-title album and Move Along a lot. They’re really fun and catchy and I like the songs.

*sigh* I love Keanu Reeves. …And have nothing else to say about The Matrix at the moment. I haven’t watched it since April-ish.
