Been a while, no?
Well, I have good reason. School and such. And I also got a job at Starbucks. I finished training a couple weeks ago, and I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job. No returned drinks for being wrong or anything. 
It’s a fun job, too, thankfully. And thank god I’m not all embarrassed by people seeing me there like back in the day when I worked at McDonald’s for like two weeks. That was a horrible experience. Don’t ever work at McDonald’s if you can avoid it. Crappiest work experience of my entire life. Just… bad. Yeah.
So in my acting class (which is amazing, by the way), we’ve done monologues so far and have the “final” (a.k.a. the first time for a grade) showing of scenes tomorrow. I was so excited when I got an A on my monologue. 
And Kayla and I are happy with the way our scene is going. We’re getting together for a final rehearsal tonight to make sure we’re good.
Also, after Thanksgiving (November 27 to be exact) is juries. Which is basically like an audition to stay a performance concentration if you’re a theatre major. If I happen to not do well the first time, I do get a second chance, but after twice it’s basically like “see ya.” I’m majorly stressing already and it’s a little over a month away. Well that’s not really saying much because I was stressing once last semester ended and I knew they were actually coming up. So yeah, you guys should wish me luck on that. Hopefully it goes well.
Kayla and I are jurying together with our scene, and then we also have to do a monologue. I might do the one we did in class earlier this semester, or I might do this other one that I found a couple weeks ago that I absolutely fell in love with.
And midterms were last week. Two of them I wasn’t too worried about, but the other two I’m a little eh about. Technically our scene tomorrow is our acting midterm, too. So I still have one left, but I’m already pretty comfortable with that so that’s fine. It was Stage Management and Dramatic Lit I was worried about. I think I probably did okay on SM, but Dramatic Lit I’m still a little worried about even after taking it. Probably not a really good sign, right?
Anyway, I’m a little bit hungry so I’m gonna go get some food. I’ll try not to wait two months before blogging next time. That’s like insanely long. Especially since I pay for this webspace and all

A Southern Thang
New little feature. See that layouts thing on the side? You can now change the layout to old versions. Right now the only thing I still have the code for (other than a couple of really crappy old layouts) is the David one from before this. So this new one and the David one are the only ones available as of now. But they won’t go away. So everything starting with DD will be available for layout changing in the future.
Just be aware the old layouts won’t be updated in terms of sidebar content and may not have all the same stuff.
